Roll Dice Online
This dice roller replaces the dice you cannot find. Choose one to six dice, pick the kind of die, and press Roll. The dice shake, land, and the total is added up for you.
Normal six-sided dice show their pips. The other dice used in tabletop and role-playing games, the d4, d8, d10, d12 and d20, show the number they landed on.
How to Use the Dice Roller
- Choose the number of dice: from 1 to 6.
- Choose the type: d6 for board games, d20 for role-playing games, or any of the others.
- Roll: press Roll or tap the dice.
- Read the result: the big number is the total, with each die listed under it. Your last rolls stay in the row below.
Press Share to send your roll as a link. Whoever opens it sees exactly the same dice.

Fair Dice
Every roll is made by your browser's secure random number generator, so each face has exactly the same chance, and every die is independent of the others and of earlier rolls. A six is no more or less likely after a run of sixes. Nothing is sent to a server.
Frequently Asked Questions
